    • Learn from the different sets of lectures/activities on the 2-Day Seminar & Workshop facilitated by local and foreign experts on Deaf education and Deaf culture as we continue to spread awareness that addresses barriers in building a more accessible future for People with Disabilities.

    • Accepting Entries until: April 26, 2020
    • Be entertained with short and compelling films empowering the Deaf members of the Community with the theme: “Building an Accessible Future Together,” especially made by aspiring filmmakers using their mobile device.

  • Annual Gala Dinner

    • May 2, 2020
    • Experience and enjoy a gastronomic night from Le Chef (courtesy of Chef Billy King) and other participating restaurants on this year’s gala dinner buffet. Be entertained by various music and dance performances of local artists, too. Plus, lucky attendees get a chance to win exciting raffle
      items while helping raise funds to help underprivileged Deaf children!

  • Eco-Cultural Fashion Show

    • Support The Deaf from the different participating organizations in Northern Luzon as they rock the runway. Representatives will be showcasing their place/province of origin in their sustainable fashion creations using recycled and up-cycled materials.

  • Gallery Walk Exhibit

    • Be part of an informative and interactive experience aimed to bring a more in-depth understanding of different types of disabilities, including more awareness related to deafness and the use of Filipino Sign Language (FLS).


SPEAKERS

Ida Rogers MEd, BEd (Hons), Dip Aus.

Ida Rogers, a deaf woman. She has worked in the education field for eighteen years, with a major focus on sign language teaching.
